First of all, thank you to all who donated and bid! Your generosity is greatly appreciated! Steve and Julie are now a little bit closer to bringing Ruthie home! Praise God! 

Winners are listed below. Please pay for your item through Steve's and Julie's paypal account (button is on the right of the blog), or, if you wish, you can mail a check for the amount. If you would like to mail a check, email jlstv4630(at)bellsouth(dot)net for the address. If the item is custom made, the item's donor will be contacting you for your preferences for colors, fabrics, sizes, etc. After the payment is received, the item will be shipped to you or hand delivered.

Adoption Auction for the Boyd's

Our friends, Steve and Julie Boyd, are adopting a precious little girl from China. Please read about their journey.  



Please meet Mao Si Dan, soon to be known as Ruthie Grace Boyd.
She was born February 2, 2011 and will prayerfully join her forever family this summer!


To help them raise money, we're lauching an online silent auction. It will be open for one week, until midnight on March 10th.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who made this auction possible!! We've listed the names of the donors, so please consider them when you have a need similar to an item they've donated. We are grateful for their hearts towards adoption!

How the Auction Works:


1. Browse through the items up for auction. Remember, the auction ends March 10th.


2. BID! To bid, please COMMENT and leave your:

                           Name

                           E-mail address

                           Bid amount

3. Keep checking on your favorite items in case someone outbids you! Remember, auction closes at midnight, March 10th. (I think, if you follow this blog, you should get an email anytime someone comments after you.)

4. I will post the winners on Sunday, March 11th. Please check back to see if you won and pay for your item through Steve's and Julie's paypal account (button is on the blog), or, if you wish, you can mail a check for the amount. Autographed 315 Framed Poster

In 1980 Paul "Bear" Bryant was the chairman for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  This poster was one of many that Coach Bryant autographed while a little boy named Kitts was close by his side.  Kitts and his brother suffered from CF.  Their parents were good friends of Jim's, and after the death of Kitts, they gave Jim this poster as a thanks for selling lots of posters to help fundraise for the CF Foundation.

Jim gave this poster to his niece, Julie, to sell to help bring Ruthie into her forever family.
